Once I was all alone but Allah He saved me
I was totally lost, but Allah He made me see
Once I was in the dark, but Allah He guided me
didn't know who I was, but now i know who to be
Once I was really sad, but Allah made me happy
now I live as His servant, now I am the true me
Once I was ignorant, but Allaah He took it away
He gave me knowledge, I'm still learning every day
Once I was really mad, but Allaah gave me peace
now my heart and soul, both feel very much at ease
Once I was searching for, Allaah showed me the way
surely without Allaah, I would have no reason to stay.
