Torn up with guilt, due to sins made in the past
realizing you don't know how long you'll last
covered in shame pressing you to your knees
ready to repent, cheeks overflown by tears
Atonement for the evil you did or have said
all torn up with thoughts filled with regret
ready to ask Allaah, to beg for forgiveness
a step towards a new start, towards success
It is never too late as long as we live and breath
to ask Allaah to forgive us for all of our bad deeds
making tawbah is an essence of cleansing your heart
repent, ask for forgiveness, a beginning, a new start!
